Dr. Lahiru Kodituvakku of the National Dengue Control Program emphasizes to seek medical advice immediately if the fever persists for more than 02 days.

He points out that several diseases with flu symptoms are currently spreading, so even after 02 days, there is a possibility that a person's life may be in danger due to the fact that a person with fever is still waiting.

Also, the doctor points out that some patients are neglecting to see a doctor and do blood tests according to their own or their family members' opinion, citing various reasons, and the doctor emphasizes that people should pay close attention to this.
