 The person who disturbed the country on Easter is arrested... He is a Maulavi..

The person who made a phone call to the police emergency number saying that there will be an attack on a Muslim church in Akurana on Easter has been arrested.

This person was arrested early this morning by a group of officers of the Criminal Investigation Department in Harispattuwa area. A 21-year-old Maulaveeva has been arrested.

It has been revealed that the phone calls made by this person were fake and after receiving that call, special police and military security was deployed to two hundred churches in the Kandy area. Apart from that, security was also tightened in many Islamic churches in Panadura area.
